Art Deco Bombé Diamond Ring c.1935
An unusual Art Deco diamond bombé cluster ring.
This lovely ring has a central transitional cut diamond mounted within a flower design collet making the stone appear larger than it is.
The central diamond has an outer a border of rose cut diamonds and rose cut diamond set shoulders in a domed design.
This design, known as a bombé cluster was popular in the 1930's. The ring is possibly French in origin but has had the marks removed at some time.
This beautiful ring is not really designed for heavy every day wear due to the design. Originally this ring would have been worn for parties and evening events as the rose diamonds catch the light beautifully making a real impact.
