Art Deco French-cut Sapphire & Diamond Ring c.1930
A fabulous Art Deco sapphire & diamond ring.
This stylish ring has French-cut pale blue sapphires set above and below a central baguette diamond with small diamonds completing the detailed geometric hexagonal design.
The ring has diamond set shoulders and is very low set to the finger. It has a plain platinum band typical of the era. There is a bit of 'wear' at the ends of the sapphire points which would be expected with a ring od this age and design. We do not as such suggest this is a ring for everyday heavy duty wear.
