Art Deco French cut Sapphire & Diamond Ring c.1930
A fabulous Art Deco sapphire & diamond cluster ring.
This unusual ring has a central French cut sapphire within a border of small diamonds in a stylised cluster design. The diamonds are in a fine rubover setting with a milgrain edge. The ring is beautifully low set to the hand and finely made with an openwork gallery with chenier detailing.
The sapphire is a lovely bright blue in colour enhanced by the cut of the stone as it 'sparkles' when it catches the light.
The ring has tapered shoulders onto a plain shank. It is perfect for everyday wear and would make a fabulous engagement ring.
