Late Edwardian Pearl & Blue Zircon Pendant c.1925
An elegant Edwardian blue zircon and pearl pendant.
This classic Edwardian design has a 'bouton' pearl mounted to the top suspending an old cut blue zircon linked by a fine bar. This design was popular in the Edwardian era with the gemstones appearing to float against the skin when worn. We believe the pendant is 15ct gold and has been rhodium plated at some time in its history.
The zircon has a fine milgrain edge and a simple openwork setting. The pendant is fully articulated and suspended on a trace chain.
