Art Deco Sapphire & Diamond Tablet Ring c.1930
An unusual Art Deco sapphire and diamond large cluster ring.
This beautiful ring has an emerald cut sapphire to the centre surrounded by a border of small and larger diamonds in a milgrain setting.
The ring is French made and has a beautiful hand made under-bezel onto plain shoulders and a fully stamped shank. It sits low to the hand was designed to be worn on its own originally as a cocktail ring.
The sapphire is a natural coloured Sri Lankan stone and has a beautiful clarity it is perfectly complemented by the white of the diamonds. Natural sapphires are scarce in nature.
Era: Art Deco, c.1925 - 1940
