A stylish mid Century agate signet ring.
This unusual ring is set with a round banded agate stone. The agate has had a Coat of Arms seal engraved into the top pale blue layer revealing the black underside. The agate is simply mounted and open to the reverse. There is slight wear to the top of the agate consistent with age.
We belive the Coat of Arms is Continental in origin - possibly Austrian or Dutch.
Era: Mid Century, c.1940 - 1960
Measurements: Head of ring 11.8 mm in width.
Ring Size: M (UK) 6.5 (US) 53 (EUR) This ring can be resized by our goldsmith but with some limitations due to the design.
Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests as 14ct gold
