Edwardian Aquamarine & Diamond Necklace c.1915
A beautiful Edwardian aquamarine, pearl and diamond necklace.
This wonderful necklace is finely made with a series of small diamonds and seed pearls set within a knife-edge grid with a pear shaped aquamarine drop top and bottom.
Both aquamarine drops are articulated and set from a short knife edge bar set with a small seed pearl. All the stones are finely set typical of the era with the diamonds in a platinum set millgrain edge.
Each section is set onto a fine knife-edge bar giving the impression they are floating freely when worn.
The necklace is suspended from a fixed fine platinum and gold chain with its original bolt ring fastening.
