A quirky Edwardian Airedale Terrier brooch.

The realistically modelled dog, is one of a series that were made during the Edwardian era when novelty jewellery was at its height.

The dog is mounted on a gold bar with a bullnose end and a handmade safety clasp

Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920

Measurements: Brooch is 5.1 cm in length, 1.6cm at widest point.

Brooch weighs 7.2 grams
