This wonderful brooch has a realistically formed lamb jumping over a ribboned staff made in platinum and gold.
Made by Alabaster & Wilson in Birmingham UK these novelty brooches were popular at the beginning of the 20th Century.
The brooch is wonderfully made and of fine quality. It has an integral safety catch to the reverse ensuring it won't jump off when atached to clothing!
Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920
Measurements: Brooch 7.2cm in length it weighs 7.1g
Hallmarks: Stamped A&W, tests as platinum & 15ct gold
