Georgian Coral Set Lyre Brooch c.1800
A Georgian lyre brooch.
A wonderful example of late 18th century Georgian jewellery, this realistically formed lyre is set with facetted coral beads and has an acanthus leaf motif to the centre.
The brooch is made in gold with a metal pin which was typical of the era.
