Georgian Ruby & Pearl Ring c.1810
An elegant Georgian ruby and pearl ring.
This beautiful ring has a central ruby in a cut down setting surrounded with 4 large seed pearls each set with a ruby between . The ring has intricate detailing with acanthus leaf engraved shoulders it is in beautiful condition.
The ring would have originally had a locket back to the reverse of the head which has sadly long gone.
This ring, in common with the vast majority of Georgian pieces is a dress ring and will not take 'heavy' wear being over 200 years old. Rings of this age and in this wonderful condition are increasingly hard to find.
