Long Double Row Cultured Pearls, Diamond & Pearl Clasp c.1950

A long double row of uniform cultured (Akoya) pearls with a stylish pearl and diamond clasp. The clasp has 3 cultured pearls with a diamond set swirled design on each side. The clasp has a tongue style catch which is hidden when closed and a figure of 8 safety device and has a good strong snap being secure when closed. 

The pearls have an ivory-pinkish tinge and a good lustre. The necklace can be worn with the clasp to the side or at the back.

Measurements: Pearls 7mm diameter, Necklace 75 cm in length.  

Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests as 18ct white gold
