Victorian Gloved Hand Fob c.1880
An unusual fob in the form of clasped hand.
The fob is realistically designed as a 17th century cuffed hand clasping a seal which is hinged. The seal is bloodstone with a complex cypher finely engraved to it and a textured top. The hand has a double ring (possible a snake ring) set to the index finger and is really finely detailed with even the fingernails visible. The cuff has a chevron detail to top and bottom. The seal has a French hallmark for 18ct gold to the top ring and is in beautiful conditon.
