Victorian Pearl & Enamel Pansy Brooch c.1900
A pretty Victorian brooch modelled as a posy of pansy flowers.
Each pansy is set with seed pearls and a larger pearl to the centre within a fine green enamel border. In the Victorian meaning of flowers the pansy symbolises "think of me" from the French word pensee and represented a display of love from one person to another.
The brooch is finely made and in wonderful condition.
