Victorian Peridot & Diamond Bow Pendant c.1900
A beautiful Victorian pendant.
The pendant has a large in a fine claw setting hanging freely within a diamond set circle topped with a diamond set bow motif. The preidot is a wonderful strong green in colour.
The pendant is mounted in silver and gold typical of the Victorian era and is suspended from a Victorian snake-link yellow gold chain with original barrel clasp.
The reverse of the pendant has 2 screw holes indicating it would probably have also been originally worn as a brooch with a detatchable fitting (this has long since gone but one could be made as a bespoke job if required).
