Victorian Opal, Demantoid Garnet, & Diamond Cluster Ring c.1900
A lovely Victorian opal and garnet ring.
This pretty ring would have been the height of modernity when it was made as opals and demantoid garnets had both only recently been discovered in Australia and Russia respectively.
The small opal has a ring of bright demantoid garnets surrounding it within a further border of rose-cut diamonds.
The ring is beautifully low set to the finger typical of rings from this period.
