Victorian ‘Jubilee' Ring c.1890
A rare find, this triple ring is set with patriotic red white and blue and may well have been made to celebrate Queen Victoria's jubilee in either 1887 or 1897.
It comprises 3 slender rings each set with different central gemstones joined together in a twist design. The ring is handmade in yellow gold and in beautiful condition. One has a ruby, one a pearl (untested assumed natural saltwater) and the third a sapphire.
Each gemstone is set between two old cut diamonds in a finely claw set mlount. The rings are all set on a slight twist and the resulting ring is stylish and elegant.
This ring is beautifully low set to the hand as is typical of the era.
