Victorian Turquoise Brooch

Victorian Turquoise & Pearl Brooch c.1900

SKU: BR114

A pretty late Victorian turquoise and pearl brooch.

The brooch is set with two cabochon turquoise stones and seed pearls in a floral scrollwork design. The turquoise are beautifully matched and a lovely bright blue in colour.

Turquoise was frequently given to represent 'forget-me-not' and this brooch may well have originally been a romantic gift.
