A fabulous oversized Le-Coultre alarm watch c.1955.
The original two tone champage dial has mirror polished baton hour indices and black Arabic numerals at the quarters, an inner minute marker track, polished gold and blackened sword hour hands and a black sweeping seconds hand.
The watch features a fully mechanical alarm system. This is activated by a second mechanism and winding crown. The alarm operates by making a buzzing sound until the mechanism has wound down.
Face signed LeCoultre, inner alarm wheel signed WRIST ALARM.
Watch with leather strap. Steel and gilt case in excellent condition.
