Having specialised in antique jewellery for over 35 years, we believe we have the experience required for buying and selling authentic examples dating from the 1700s to the middle of the twentieth century. Our jewels are chosen for their great design and period charm, and above all for their quality and wearability.
THE SHOP
Our beautiful little Georgian jewellery shop is located in the heart of Shrewsbury. We always have a wonderfully varied range of jewellery, watches & objects for sale.

We take in jewellery repairs & pearl restringing jobs and have a fully equipped specialist workshop. We can also work on bespoke jobs and remodelling items of jewellery that no longer get worn.
If you cannot get to us but would still like to shop we can provide details by email, phone or video call. Postage is free of charge with a 14 day returns policy.
We have carried out a detailed risk assessment to ensure the safety of our clients and staff. We restrict the number of people in the shop at any one time as the shop is so tiny. If you have any concerns prior to visiting us, please do get in touch and we will help to put your mind at ease. We assure you of our best service at all times.
We are also available by appointment for both insurance and probate valuations. Between us, we have many years of experience working with antique and period jewellery and bring an in-depth knowledge that we are happy to share with you.
How To Buy
AVAILABILITY
All of the items which we sell are antique or period and are individual. We have a continually changing stock; if you cannot find what you are looking for on our website we may be able to find it for you. Please let us know and we will see what we can do.

PAYMENT
You can also arrange to pay directly by bank transfer. All our prices are in £GBP, there its a currency converter at the top of the website for guidance in a variety of major currencies. Please note all sales will be processed in £GBP.

We can also offer ‘layaway’ terms for items over £750 over a 60 day period.

DELIVERY
​
Postage is free. Once payment is cleared we will send out your order to the invoicing address of the card you pay with.
All our jewellery is kept in a time locked safe in our shop - we aim to send items out as soon as possible within 2-3 working days after payment has cleared.
Please advise us if you are working to a specific timeframe or are looking for delivery on a specific day (UK only) and we will do our best to accommodate this.

Please note that ring sizing will require a longer delivery time.
We will advise you of the timeframes as this depends on each individual item.

For all UK orders we use Royal Mail's ‘Special Delivery’ service.
This is a fully tracked and insured system and requires a signature on delivery. We can not ship to PO box addresses.
For international orders we use Royal Mail 'International Tracked and Signed' or DHL.
All parcels are fully tracked* and insured and require a signature on delivery. We do not ship to postal box addresses.

GUARANTEE
We are proud of the items we sell which by their very nature are unique. We do not sell reproductions and unless we have stated otherwise, all our items are sold in very good condition and original. We guarantee all items bought from us.

We offer a 14 day returns policy. In the event that you are not satisfied with an item bought from us, we will give you a full refund of the invoice price (excluding our costs, such as postage and sizings) upon the return of the item in the same condition as it was sent, provided that we have been notified by email or phone within three days of your receipt of the item.
This does not affect your statutory rights.

Sourcing engagement rings is a speciality and something we love being involved in. We work with each couple (or prospective Groom) to find the perfect ring just for you. We offer complimentary resizing and can make sure your engagement ring is cleaned and polished if required before your big day - we also advise and work with couples for their wedding rings.
JEWELLERY REPAIRS & PEARL RESTRINGING
We pride ourselves on our knowledge of how jewellery has been made and have always specialised in restoration of antique items. Andrew is a fully trained goldsmith which gives us an in-depth understanding as to what can and cannot be done when dealing with repairs and restoration. We always assess each job on its individual merits from the most basic repair to complex restorations and we work with a small network of highly skilled and trusted goldsmiths to ensure sure your piece goes to the right place for the job.

INSURANCE VALUATIONS
We are available by appointment for insurance and probate valuations. We are always happy to advise you with regard to selling your unwanted items and pride ourselves on our professional and personal service. Between us, we have many years of experience working with antique and period jewellery and are happy to share it with you.
BESPOKE DESIGN
We have worked with our customers for many years remodelling items of jewellery that no longer get worn and turning them into something for the next generation. This can be as simple as converting a brooch into a pendant or ring or something altogether more complex. We can make bespoke wedding rings and signet rings and work with the best goldsmiths to ensure a perfect result.
If you have a piece of jewellery that no longer gets worn and would like to convert it into something bespoke we always advise making an appointment with us to discuss the options. We have access through our extensive network, gained over 40 years, to specialise in every field of jewellery manufacture and supply.
