Art Deco Cabochon Emerald & Diamond ring c.1935
A stylish Art Deco emerald and diamond ring.
This bold ring has a large rectangular cabochon emerald in a 4 claw setting within a diamond set scalloped border. The ring has a beautiful handmade scrollwork underbezel and is low set to the hand.
Designed to be worn as a statement 'cocktail' ring this elegant ring is made from white gold typical of the Art Deco era.
The large emerald is typical of the type of gemstone used in this period, it is cut in a cabochon shape (domed to the top) and is a strong green in colour.
