Art Deco Sapphire & Diamond Target Ring c.1930
A beautiful Art Deco sapphire & diamond target ring.
This wonderful ring has a central old cut diamond in a milgrain setting within an outer border of calibre cut sapphires. The sapphires are beautifully matched and in a rub over setting typical of the Art deco era.
This design, commonly referred to as a 'Target' was popular in the 1930's. The slightly tapered shoulders are set with 2 small diamonds to each side onto a plain shank.
This beautiful original Art Deco ring is very low set to the hand and has a handmade scalloped underbezel.
There is slight wear to the setting edge of the sapphire consistent with the age of the piece. We suggest that this ring would not be suitable for heavy everyday wear.
