The ring has a facetted cabouchon-cut sapphire at the centre, with baguette diamonds in a tapered design to each side. This is set within a diamond rectangular panel, making a striking design. The ring has wide tapered shoulders with deco scrollwork detailing onto a plain wide tapered shank with a French platinum import mark.
This fabulous ring makes a real statement when worn, sitting comfortably on the finger. There are some restrictions for the sizing due to the design.
Odeonesque describes a style of Art Deco jewelry (circa 1920s–1950s) characterised by bold, architectural, and stepped designs, often featuring layered, geometric gem settings. Inspired by the tiered seating of 1910s-1930s European music halls (Odeons), these pieces are commonly seen as three-dimensional, rectangular cocktail rings.
