A pretty Edwardian demantoid garnet and diamond ring.
This lovely ring has a bright demantoid garnet within a border of 8 small diamonds in a classic daisy cluster design. The ring has tapered platinum faced gold shoulders onto a plain gold shank.
The diamonds are all mounted in a fine platinum setting with a milgrain edge.
The setting is open to the reverse and the ring is very low set to the hand typical of the era.
Era: Edwardian, c.1901 - 1920
Measurements: Total diamond weight estimated 0.25 carats
Head of ring 7 mm in diameter.
