A beautiful Edwardian enamel pocket watch.
The face with fine white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, gilt outer minute markers and blue steel cathedral hands. Subsidiary seconds dial to '6' with outer second track and blued steel sweep hand.
The reverse of the watch case is in a beautiful purple engine turned enamel with a grey fleur de lys design around the edge. There is an old cut diamond mounted to the centre within a rubover border within a star shaped motif.
The front of the watch case has a purple enamel border with a white edge. The watch has a fluted winder to the top within a hinged oval top ring which has remnants of the orginal enamel.
There are a few very minor scratches to the enamel conssitent with age - this does not detract from the piece.
Swiss mechanical movement (fully serviced).

Hallmarks: Case interior with GS makers mark with worn import stamp (Swiss?) for 18 carat gold.
