Edwardian Diamond Buckle Ring c.1905
£2,150.00
A lovely early Edwardian diamond buckle ring.
This lovely ring is made from a warm 15-carat gold.
The ring has a realistically figured buckle and loop, each sitting slightly higher than the band and is set with 2 old cut diamonds in square-shaped settings open to the reverse. The ring has a wide band and is very low set to the hand, being very comfortable to wear.
Buckle rings have a lovely sentiment as they literally mean “I am bound to you”. They would originally have been given as betrothal or commitment rings. Perfect for everyday wear, it would make a fabulous alternative to a wedding ring.
