Victorian Diamond Cluster Ring c.1900
A stylish late Victorian diamond cluster ring.
This elegant ring has a central old cut diamond surrounded with a border of smaller diamonds in a cluster design. The diamonds are all set within a rubover border with the head of the ring mounted in silver onto a yellow gold openwork underbezel.
The ring has slightly tapered shoulders each set with 2 small diamonds onto a plain yellow gold shank.
Typically late 19th Century in design, the ring is very low set to the finger and finely made.
This lovely ring is wearable on an everyday basis as long as it is treated with respect, being over 120 years old and having a silver (softer) setting. It would potentially make a beautiful engagement ring.
