Edwardian Sapphire and Diamond 3 Stone Cluster Ring c.1905
£2,500.00
An unusual Edwardian sapphire & diamond 3 stone cluster ring.
This lovely ring has 3 oval cut sapphires with a larger central stone set within a border of small old cut diamonds creating a cluster design.
The gemstones are grain set with a cut down claw setting to the edge within a fabulous handmade scalloped gallery typical of the early 20th Century.
The sapphires are beautifully matched and a lovely rich blue in colour, complemented by the white of the old cut diamonds.
The ring has tapered plain yellow gold shoulders onto a slightly tapered plain shank, this again is very typical of the era.
This lovely ring is low set to the hand and perfect for everday wear. It would make a wonderful unique engagement ring.
