A stylish Edwardian hessonite garnet and diamond brooch by Tiffany & Co.
This fabulous brooch has a cushion cut hessonite (dark orange) garnet to the centre set with 4 old cut diamonds in a stylised cross design. The gemstones are all finely claw set to a gold bar in a typically Edwardian style.
The brooch has a sprung catch to the reverse.
It is finely made and is signed Tiffany & Co to the back of the catch. The brooch is assumed to be American in origin.
Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920
Measurements: Brooch 5.4 cm in length,
1.5cm at widest point.
