A wonderful late Victorian novelty brooch modelled as a Lyre.
The lyre is finely detailed in gold with half seed pearls set around the edge. Typically late Victorian in style the lyre is mounted onto a gold bar set with a natural pearl to each end.
The brooch has a gold pin to the reverse.
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901
Measurements: 4.1 cm in length, 2.8 grams in weight.
Hallmarks: Unmarked, tests as 18ct gold
