Victorian Diamond Marquise Ring c.1880
An elegant late Victorian marquise diamond ring.
This beautiful ring has 21 old cut diamonds in a marquise or 'navette' cluster design. The diamonds are beautifully silver spitch set with a yellow gold open back.
The ring has fine carved detailing to the shoulders onto a tapered shank typical of rings from this era. The diamonds are well matched and closely set giving the impression of a single stone when viewed from a distance.
This lovely ring is very low set to the finger typical of the era and would make a beautiful unique engagement ring.
