A fabulous large Victorian gold cross pendant.
The cross is hollow (typical of the Victorian era) and has wonderful engravings to both sides. One side has an intricated diamond background with a central rose and leaf motif.
The reverse has an engraved celtic style ribbon and scrollwork pattern.
This wonderful oversized piece is further engraved with initials and 2 inscriptions. 'M.E.R.B. Baptised Easter Day 1888' 'Confirmed March 22nd 1903 First Communion March 29th'
The cross is in perfect condition.
Era: Victorian, 1837 - 1901
Measurements: Cross is 6.6 cm in length, 4 cm widest point
The locket is 10.7 grams in weight
Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests as 18ct gold
