An elegant late Victorian ruby and diamond 7 stone ring.
This beautiful ring has a deep red (natural) oval ruby set to the centre with 3 old cut diamonds to each side. The ruby is set within 2 double claws and a grain setting with the diamonds tightly mounted together giving the impression of a much larger diamond to each side.
The ring has beautiful a handmade scrollwork bezel and is open to the reverse. It has tapered carved shoulders which flow onto a plain gold shank.
This beautiful ring is really low set to the finger typical of the era. It would make a fabulous engagement ring.
Era: Victorian, 1837 - 1901
Measurements: Ruby estimated 1.25 carats, certificated as natural unheated colour. Natural rubies of this colour are rare.
Total diamond weight estimated 0.75 carats G colour VS clarity
Ring Size: M (UK) 6½ (US) 53 (EUR) This ring can be resized by our goldsmith at no extra cost with some restrictions due to the design.
