A stylish and wearable antique French made diamond set wristwatch in a tonneau shaped design.
The original champagne face with a 'quilted' middle section has stylised black Arabic numerals and outer minute markers with cathedral design hands.
The watch has a gold back and winder and is a large size for the era. The watch has a border of rosecut diamonds finely set around the bezel within a millgrain platinum edge.
The watch is attched to a leather strap with gilt buckle.
Era: Art Deco, c.1925 - 1940
Movement: Swiss mechanical FHF movement (this movement was used by Rolex at the same period)
Measurements: Case diameter 32 mm length, 31mm wide (excluding winding wheel)
Hallmarks: French marked for 18ct gold
