An incredibly stylish Art Deco gentlemans 'dress' set complete with its original fitted case by Fortnum & Mason, London.
The set, originally designed for a 'white tie' outfit comprises a set of cufflinks, 4 buttons and two dress studs. The set is elegant and beautifully wearable.
Each round link is made from a concave mother of pearl disc with a fine diamond set cross 'thread' to the centre forming a button and thread motif. The link is fronted in platinum with a yellow gold reverse typical of the era.
The dress set has a pair of round cufflinks, the cufflinks are joined by an articulated link. Each button has a yellow gold loop to the reverse and a metal fastener typical of the era. The round dress studs have a gold bar to the reverse.
The set is in wonderful condition with a fabulous contemporary look despite being nearly 100 years old. The set is in a beautiful fitted case for the original retailer Fortnum & Mason, London.
