Art Deco Emerald & Diamond Cluster Ring c.1935
A stylish Art Deco emerald & diamond square cluster ring.
This elegant ring has a central old cut diamond surrounded with a border of calibre emeralds and an outer border of small diamonds in a square cluster design. The ring has diamond set shoulders and is finely mounted in platinum and 18ct yellow gold typical of the 1920's.
The ring is very low set to the hand with an engraved gallery and chenier detailing onto a plain shank. The ring is possibly French in origin - due to its design and may have had the assay marks removed at some point in its history
This lovely ring is wonderful example of early Art Deco design and craftsmanship. Due to the design of the ring, it is not recommended for 'heavy' everyday wear.
