A pretty antique sapphire and diamond cluster ring.
This finely made ring has a bright diamond-shaped sapphire at the centre within a border of 16 small diamonds in a scalloped cluster design. The gemstones are all mounted in a rubover setting with a grain edge.
The ring has a beautiful handmade openwork underbezel and tapered diamond set shoulders with scrolled chenier details onto a plain white gold band typical of the 1920's.
This lovely ring is low set and sits neatly on the hand when worn. It would make a very stylish engagement ring.
