A classic Art Deco night and day 'flip ring'
This lovely ring has a half hoop of square cut sapphires to one side with a half hoop of square cut rubies to the other.
The central band has a hinged half hoop of diamonds to either side which flip to the ruby or sapphire side when required by the wearer.
The setting of the ring is open to the reverse, with rectangular back holes allowing light into the gemstones.
This beautiful ring has plain sides. There are some slight abraisons to the rubies and sapphires consistent with age. This does not detract from the beauty of the ring.
These original Art Deco rings are always hard to find.
The ring is 9 mm at its widest. It is 1.7mm in height.
Era: Art Deco, c.1925 - 1940
