A pretty Art Nouveau diamond ring.
A twist on the standard 2 stone design makes this diamond ring unusual with the diamonds set top and bottom suspended on fine curved settings. There are small diamonds across the top of the ring in a milgrain setting.
The ring is engraved to the inner shank with an inscription 'Ferdinand et Virginie Francis le 1-8-21'. This lovely ring was probably given originally to celebrate a marriage as 2 stones indicate you and me "toi et moi"
This elegant ring is beautifully low set to the finger with a reeded shank.
