A stylish mid century cocktail ring.
This fabulous statement ring is designed in a wrap around style with 2 tapered gold oval sections each set with a central diamond panel. The ring has a fluted design which is finished with a ropetwist border giving the ring a distinctive point to the centre.
Typical of the designs of the late 1950s and 1960s, this ring is designed to be worn on its own. It has a slightly tapered wide shank and a plain section to the reverse making it feel comfortable on the hand.
We believe the ring is possibly French in origin but has been sized at some point losing the original hallmark.
Era: Mid Century: c.1940 - 1960
