A beautiful vintage diamond and enamel Royal Artillery Sweetheart Brooch. 
 
The brooch is designed as the Royal Artillery cap badge of a diamond set muzzle-loading cannon on ground facing left with a rammer resting against a rotating diamond set wheel. 
 
The brooch has the regiment's two mottos a scroll bearing UBIQUE (everywhere), resting on which is an enamelled Queen's crown and an elaborate scroll bearing QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCUNT (where faith and glory lead). Both mottos, awarded in recognition of distinguished service around the world, are finely enamelled in blue.
 
The brooch is beautifully made with a secure hinged pin fastening with scrolled closure.
