Edwardian Amethyst Drop Earrings c.1910
An elegant pair of Edwardian amethyst & pearl earrings.
These lovely earrings each have 2 old cut amethysts in a simple 6 claw settings linked by a fine knife edge bar. The bar has a cental half pearl in a fine rubover setting . Each section is articulated so they move freely when worn.
The earrings have post and butterfly fitting for pierced ears.
The amethysts are a strong bright colour and are beautufully matched. The earrings are finely made typical of the Edwardian era with a platinum edge to the setting of the knife edge bar. The amethysts are open to the reverse.
