Edwardian Aquamarine & Diamond Necklace c.1920
A stylish Edwardian aquamarine drop necklace.
This wonderful necklace is finely made with an aquamarine drop suspended from a fine double openwork bar.
The pendant hangs from a diamond set daisy motif and the drop is articulated so moves freely when worn. All the stones are finely set typical of the era with the diamonds in a platinum set millgrain edge.
The pendant section is fronted in platinum onto a gold reverse typical of the Edwardian era. The necklace may be by Alabaster & Wilson (we had something similar many years ago which was much smaller but a very similar design with their makers mark attached)
The necklace is suspended from a fixed fine gold chain with its original bolt ring fastening.
