An unusual Edwardian Blue John solitaire ring.
The ring has a 'sugarloaf' blue john gemstone finely mounted in a rubover mount open to the reverse with a low plain bezel.
The ring has tapered shoulders onto a plain shank and is very low set to the finger, typical of the era.
Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920
Measurements: Head of ring 12 mm in diameter
