An unusual Edwardian citrine trilogy ring.
This pretty ring has 3 citrines in fine handmade claw set coronet mounts, with a larger old cut Madiera citrine to the centre and an oval (yellow) citrine to either side. The citrines are all a fabulous rich warm colour.
The ring has a plain yellow gold under bezel open to the reverse. It is beautifully made with tapered shoulders onto a plain yellow gold shank. It sits low to the hand and makes a real statement when worn.
There is slight wear to the central citrine, but this does not detract from the beauty of the ring. Citrines are 7 on the Mohs scale, making them a softer gemstone (the same as Emerald and Aquamarine), so this needs to be taken into account if the ring is to be worn on an everyday basis.
