Edwardian Diamond Bangle c.1905
BL069
£0.00
An elegant Edwardian diamond bangle.
This beautiful rose gold bangle has a graduated row of 17 old cut diamonds in a fine silver setting within a smooth eliptical bangle. Each diamond is mounted in a spitch setting and is slightly lower than the rose gold border making the bangle smooth to the touch.
The silver setting accentuates the diamonds making them appear larger than they are. This lovely bangle, in common with many pieces of this era is quite small and will only fit a narrow wrist.
The bangle has an integral hidden clasp typical of the era and a safety chain.
Era: Edwardian 1901-1920
Measurements: Internal width 5.8cm, external width 6.4cm.
The bangle is 7.7 mm wide at its widest point.
Total diamond weight estimated 1.0 carats, I colour vs-si clarity
Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests as silver and 9ct rose gold
