Edwardian Diamond Cluster Drop Earrings c.1920
A classic pair of Edwardian diamond cluster drop earrings.
These elegant earrings have an old cut diamond cluster comprising a larger old cut diamond surrounded by 8 smaller old cut diamonds in grain setting with a milgrain edge in a typically Edwardian style.
The clusters are finely mounted in platinum with openwork gold backs and are suspended from a triple diamond bar which is articulated.
The earrings have post and butterfly fittings for pierced ears, we belive they originally had hook fittings but have been changed at some point.
The setting is open to the reverse and the diamonds are individually articulated so that the earrings have a lovely movement when worn.
These timeless earrings are perfect for any occasion or age.
