Edwardian Diamond Toi et Moi Ring c.1920
A stylish Edwardian diamond 2 stone cross over ring.
This beautiful ring has two old cut diamonds simply mounted in tapered shoulders in a twist design. The diamonds are mounted in a rub over platinum setting with a millgrain edge typical of the 1920's onto a plain yellow gold shank.
The ring is very low set to the finger typical of the era and would make a perfect engagement ring.
These rings are often referred to as a "toi et Moi" design with the two stones representing you and me from the French "toi et moi" which was originally made popular by Napoleon who presented an engagement ring in this style.
