A classic Edwardian emerald and diamond 5 stone ring.
This lovely ring has 3 cushion cut emeralds and 2 old cut diamonds in a platinum coronet setting, with a gold under bezel.
The ring has tapered yellow gold shoulders with chenier details onto a plain gold shank typical of the era and is low set to the hand.
The emeralds are a beautiful deep green colour, complemented by the white of the old cut diamonds.
Founded in Birmingham in 1826, S. Blanckensee & Sons were renowned manufacturing jewellers and silversmiths.
This elegant ring could be worn as an engagement ring as long as it isn't receiving 'heavy' wear as emeralds are a softer gemstone.
