An unusual antique enamel cross.
The French-made cross has a central pearl and emerald four-petal flower design at the centre of a beautifully red enamelled rich gold cross with beadwork details to each quarter. The cross is hollow in construction, typical of the era and is in fabulous condition.
The cross has its original pearl-set red enamel bail, through which a fine gold trace chain is strung.
This elegant cross is so wearable and has a contemporary look despite being over 120 years old.
